The accused has been identified as 37 -year -old Stanley Eugene West. According to police, Stanley was quarreling with a woman in the hotel parking. Rakesh tried to calm them down and asked, "Are you alright friend?" On hearing this, Stanley shot Rakesh. The accused also shot the woman.
